Our 702 operating certificate allows us to perform various types of aerial work. Over the last few years, we’ve been regularly performing various types of aerial work for a number of clients.

Fire Patrol
For the last several years, we have been involved in fire patrol and direction operations for a number of clients, including for the BC Wildfire Service. As well as trusting us to transport personnel and initial attack crews, our relatively small and inexpensive to operate aircraft are extremely useful when placed in role of long range detection patrols.
More recently we have been implementing GIS and digital mapping systems to assist pilots in delivering precision and safety for our clients.
While the increasing prevalence of wildfires is concerning, there’s nothing like calling in a new fire and we’re proud to be part of the wider system which detects and contains wildfires to protect people and the environment.
Atmospheric Sampling
Since 2020 we have been conducting high altitude air sampling operations for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Using special equipment in our aircraft, we climb to 17,500 feet out of Nootka Sound and take air samples at intervals as we descend.
NOAA uses this data for a wide range of science, perhaps most important of which is to provide a detailed record of differing levels of greenhouse gas emissions present in the samples.
Its exiting to be on the front lines of science in this way and we’re incredibly grateful to NOAA for allowing us to participate.
